• Woundcare technology

Safe, highly effective malvaSAFE technology creates a simple solution chemically similar to the naturally occurring molecule - hypochlorous acid. Rapidly kills 99.999% of MRSA, VRE, Acinetobacter baumannii, E.Coli, and other dangerous pathogens in solution in just seconds. malvaSAFe can be demonstrated to be extremely safe, gentle, and hypoallergenic.  It can be applied directly to wounds even around eyes, mouth, and nose.  There should be no clinical contraindications for use.

malvaSAFE, therefore, has serious potential  for wound therapy; it is a tissue-friendly solution that is applied directly to wounds to cleanse them and remove dead tissue. It is produced at a robust concentration to optimize effectiveness, yet it is pH-balanced so it is not cytotoxic and will not sting or burn. It could be used to cleanse and debride chronic and acute wounds and for daily dressing management.

• Hydraulic Fracturing or ‘Fracking’

There is a definite requirement for an environmentally friendly bacteriacide / biocide for applications in the oil and gas industry to use in conjunction with hydraulic fracturing [‘fracking’] processes. malvaSAFE inhibits the growth of organisms that could produce gases, particularly hydrogen sulphide, that could contaminate methane gas.  It will also prevent the growth of bacteria which can reduce the ability of the fluid to carry proppant into the fractures.  malvaSAFE would be a biocide that would not damage fracking stimulation fluids and gel agents or cause corrosion.
